A Birthday Bucket List

I’m not reluctant to aging, as I believe adding another notch to the bedpost of life is a privilege that we should never take for granted. Rather, I would say I have a fascination with aging. I want to ensure every year I have spent as best as I possibly could. Full of learning and new experiences as well as making sure I spend my time doing the things I have known and loved for years already.

Ever since my birthday on the 1st July, I’ve wondered whether 26 is the final year of one’s mid-twenties, or whether 27 has that spot. It may surprise you to hear age spoken about so candidly from a high class independent escort London. But I enjoy checking in with myself. I don’t want to adhere to societal constructs about where I should “fit in” at my age, and what I should be “doing”. I want to be authentically me, chasing the memories that I want. And so, a few weeks before my 26th birthday, I decided to compile a non-exhaustive birthday bucket list to share with my Twitter followers, and I felt it would be apt to share it here too.

Perhaps I will never remember to add to it, perhaps this will be part 1 of 5. Who knows? But I intend to cross every single item from that list at some point in the near future, and I’d like it if you join me in doing so. So if, when you are reading it, you find something tickles your fancy, please do get in touch and we can arrange a rendezvous. Since posting the thread, I’ve already been gifted the Ultimate Stunt Driving Masterclass experience by a very generous suitor. And I am hoping to get some pictures that I can share with him from the day in (hopefully!) August.

1. First up, a stunt driving masterclass. Slaloms, handbreak parallel parking and even prize giving. What’s not to love? (This has already been gifted to me, but if you would like a link for yourself please click here!)

2. Make a dent in my classics-focussed reading list on @Scribd - which is looking particularly healthy currently. Rome and Ancient Greece, I’m comin’ for ya.

3. A Nedcation date. Everyone knows how much I adore a spa, snuggles in bed and freshly made cocktails. Plus, I’ve not stayed at the Ned yet. Travesty.

4. Experience my second foursome. I’ve been lucky enough to participate in one, but hey. More hands, more fun.

5. The only tent I will ever volunteer to sleep in, now that I’m not a 17 year-old at Reading festival.

6. I’ve been trying to experience a Shibari class for over a year now, and I am determined I will.

7. Tick off some wild swimming spots.

8. Get down and dirty with coding. First up, HTML and JavaScript for my beginner self.

9. Complete the Swedish course on Duolingo, before I start yet another language. Latin, anyone?

10. I’ve still not been to London Mithraeum and I am absolutely mad about it.

11. Embrace my inner cottagecore with a foraging course.

12. Decorate my own dildo, obvs.

13. I’d like to spend some time watching BFI’s films from the archive at the Mediatheque

14. Be entwined with as many of my loves at @KLECollective and on my friends page as time will allow

15. During my A-levels, i got a lot of pleasure in the evenings out of life drawing classes. I’d like to reacquaint myself.

How is your fancy doing? Has it been tickled yet? By the Milthraeum, or perhaps the Shibari class? Or did plastering a ceramic dildo (or butt plug) with decals in London, a high class independent escort by your side, tickle your fancy? I’m keen to find out.

If you have any suggestions for activities for us to do together not yet listed, please do reach out to me too as I always enjoy collecting new experiences and feeling out of my comfort zone. For those who are keen to have an adventure, but are lost for inspiration, anything spy-related like escape rooms or even something wild like axe-throwing is up my street. Or if you would rather relax, I can never say no to a restful (and pleasurable) spa day.
